THOMAS BULL - LEAD VOCALS & KEYBOARD

TOM FACE

THOMAS BULL

THOMAS BULL was born in Birmingham in 1968 Thomas joined his first band T MINUS ONE (T-1) as lead vocalist when he was 17. The band had been established for 4 years prior to Thomas joining. The bands genre was Punk/Hard Rock not quite Thomas's taste in music, however Thomas was with T MINUS ONE for 15 months until the band decided to split due to personal indifference's. After an absence of 18 years Thomas was asked to sing at a 60th Birthday party in a bar called The Mirador located in the San Miguel area of Spain where he was now living. His set included songs by the great Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin among others. A far cry from his days of singing Punk rock. Thomas became a regular singer at the Mirador

until one day he was asked along with 3

other singers to form a Showaddywaddy

Tribute act for a charity event. During

the event people were asking where they

                            were performing next and so

SHOWADDYWADDY FX Tribute was formed Consisting of Thomas, Alan, Gary & Dave. The band had reached its peak however there was a constant clash of personalities between Alan & Gary. So after 8 months Thomas & Alan decided to quit SWW FX Tribute and form their own Showaddywaddy Tribute act. In January 2009 Thomas and Alan recruited 2 new members Eldon Carey (Bass Vocals) and Craig Taylor

name was  SHOWADDYWADDY LEGEND. The four members practiced constantly for 6 weeks and then took the act out on the road. The bands popularity grew very fast up to a point where they were performing between 7 to 10 gigs a week having to sing not only at night but also during the day. During many of the gigs the band used to end the night with something a little different. As you can see the lads dressed up in white satin suits and performed approximately a dozen Soul and Motown tracks such as Get Ready by the Temptations & Saturday Night At The Movies by the Drifters. As well as the soul act they would occasionally dress up as the Village People. To the lads it was just a bit of fun to end the night with, but word soon got round & they were constantly asked to end the show with one or the other. Thomas announced in June of that year that he would be leaving Showaddywaddy Legend. He remained as lead

vocalist until October 2009 when he decided

to return to the UK with his family. Thomas and the rest of the band found a replacement Martin Kay although not as good as Thomas (only joking Martin). Showaddywaddy Legend continue to grow with their new Lead Vocalist. Thomas now back in the UK decided at first to pursue a solo career but missed the camaraderie of a band. So in 2010 he decided to start yet another Showaddywaddy tribute act. Still consisting of four members the new line up was himself, Colin Knight, Steve Knight & Lee Knight The band became a great success and very much in demand. Unfortunately during 2012 Steve & Lee found it difficult to fully commit to the band due to their growing work load in the running of the Oast House (entertainment bar in Redditch) and so in February they called it a day. We would like to wish them all the luck for the future. Enter their replacements Tony Steele and Bruce Ward. Both Tony and Bruce play the Bass Guitar & Lead Guitar respectively. However it was to be short lived as during the beginning of January Tony decided to call it a day. Thomas was again
